Vernon Legislative Delegation and the Cornerstone Foundation are hosting Vernon Community Food Drive in memory of Bryan Flint Sr.

The main food drive will be held on Oct. 21 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. at St. Bernard Church at 25 St. Bernard Terrace in Vernon. Starting Tuesday, Oct. 10, there will be food donation boxes at the Vernon Town Hall (14 Park Place), the Rockville Public Library (52 Union St., Vernon) and St. Bernard Church. Those boxes will be in place from Oct. 10 until Oct. 20.

Some of the most needed items are: tuna, canned meats, pasta, rice, pasta sauce, peanut butter, paper towels, toilet paper, and other basic toiletries.
