Computers and WiFi
Computers
PC Computers are available in the adult, teen and children’s departments of the library. Each computer is equipped with multiple web browsers and Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, etc). Computer sessions are two hours in length, though additional time may be granted by library staff at their discretion.
To log into library computers, patrons must enter their library card barcode number. Those without cards may request a temporary pass.
Please note that the three terminals in the Teen Department may only be used by teens and the two terminals in the Children’s Department may only be used by children in grade six or below. The library does not use filters on our internet browsers.
Catalog computers are available throughout the building for patrons to search for library materials.
Library WiFi
The Rockville Public Library Wi-Fi is a free public service available to all patrons. It is accessible within the library building and on library grounds. If you need help connecting to the library’s WiFi, please ask a staff member.
