Starting on Monday, December 14th Rockville Public Library will provide Vernon library card holders with access to free e-book and e-audiobooks through the State of Connecticut’s SimplyE app.

Developed by the New York Public Library, SimplyE is an open source app available for both Android and iOS phones, tablets, and e-readers. It allows users to easily check out, and read or listen to digital content from multiple collections all in one place. The app includes content that is available in the statewide collection from the Connecticut State Library. This includes:

  1. Baker & Taylor Axis 360 [1,819 items]
  2. Biblioboard [1,131 items]
  3. DPLA Exchange [4,171 items]
  4. DPLA Open Bookshelf [8,500 titles]
  5. NYPL Instant Classics [6,473 titles]
  6. RBdigital [4,349 items]

Ready to check it out? Download the SimplyE app from the Google Play or the Apple App Store, select your home library, then enter your library card number and PIN.
