Come celebrate poet and Master Teacher Vicky Nordlund, whose talent and passionate work have helped Rockville High School creative writers net more than 1000 state and national awards and publications over the past 20 years. Vicky will read from her two books, and the evening will also feature Vernon Poet Laureate Caitlin Chatterton, Poet and CCSU Professor John Stanizzi and Inaugural Poet Laureate Pegi Deitz Shea. Current and former students are welcome to speak briefly in an open mike. A reception and book sale/signing will follow. The program is free and open to the public.
