Winter is coming! We will welcome local PSIA alpine ski instructor Dave England – he will be presenting information on alpine skiing to help understand the concepts of how to ski safer and have more fun. Dave will show the attendees the moves while standing centered-balance and how to turn-rotate in concert with applying edging and pressure, then will ask them to simulate these moves to better understand the concepts.

Dave started skiing in 1975. He was a ski patroller in Vermont and a ski reporter (Ski Watch). In 2008 he joined Amateur Ski Instructors Assoc. (ASIA) to become an instructor, and is now certified through ASIA in Levels 1 and 2, as well as Level 1 through Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA).
