Computerized Resources
Internet Access
Terminals to access the Internet are available in both the adult and children's departments of the library.  Terminals in the children's department may be used only by children in grade six or below.  Library staff will provide details on using them.  Four terminals in the adult department are available to anyone with an adult library card.  Those under age 18 need signed parental consent to use the Internet because the system is unfiltered.  To access the Internet, patrons must enter their library card barcode on the computer screen.  Patrons must use their own cards to access the Internet.  Each patron is allowed one hour of Internet time per day. Printouts are available at 10 cents per page.  Please review the complete Internet policy by clicking here.

Word Processors
Word processing software is available for patrons to use on two computers in the adult department and one in the children's department.  Printouts are available at 10 cents per page.

Online Catalog Terminals
Two terminals containing the library's online catalog also provide access to other databases for research purposes.  Library staff can provide assistance in using these resources.

Wi-FI

The Rockville Public Library Wi-Fi is a free public service available to patrons with a valid library card from any library in Connecticut.  Hours of availability are Monday through Saturday 9-9.  Wi-Fi is not available on Sunday as the Library is closed on that day.  Please review the acceptable use policy by clicking here.   Any difficulties in accessing Wi-Fi should be reported to a staff member.

COPY MACHINE

A Black and white copy machine is available for patron use in the library.  Each side of a page costs 15 cents. The machine will make double sided copies and legal size copies.  Notary service is not available at the library.

CELL PHONES

In an effort to maintain a quiet and pleasant environment, the Library requests that patrons turn off all cell phones upon entering the building. Anyone needing to make or take a call while at the Library may step outside or use the lobby area.

HOMEBOUND DELIVERY SERVICE
